Xiaomi reported that it delivered more than 30,000 vehicles in July 2025 via Chinese social media, Weibo, setting a new monthly high. This figure includes units of the newly launched Xiaomi YU7 SUV, which began deliveries on July 6. The company noted that the July total also reflects cumulative deliveries of pre-produced YU7 vehicles from prior months.

Compared to June 2025, when Xiaomi delivered over 25,000 units, the July total represents a month-on-month increase of approximately 20%.

Xiaomi has also continued expanding its retail and service network. In July, the automaker added 18 new stores, bringing its total to 352 stores across 97 cities in China, according to IT-Home. Another 18 stores are scheduled to open in August, with new locations expected in towns such as Baotou and Longyan. As of July 31, Xiaomi operates 181 service centres in 106 cities.

Xiaomi to reach 370 stores nationwide by end of August.

In parallel with sales and service expansion, Xiaomi is accelerating its manufacturing infrastructure. On June 20, the company secured a new parcel of industrial land in the Beijing Yizhuang New City area for 635 million yuan (approx. 87.5 million USD). The land spans 485,100 square meters and will house Xiaomi Auto’s third-phase production facility. The planned annual capacity for the new site is 450,000 vehicles.

Meanwhile, the second-phase factory at the same Beijing Yizhuang site completed structural work in June and entered equipment testing in July. This facility is designed for an annual capacity of 150,000 units. Once fully operational, Xiaomi’s total production capacity at the Beijing base is expected to reach 350,000 vehicles per year.

Xiaomi began delivering its first electric vehicle model, the SU7, on April 3, 2024. The company reached its first 100,000-unit delivery milestone by November 18, 2024, taking approximately seven and a half months. In March 2025, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun stated that the company was scaling up production capabilities and adjusted its 2025 full-year delivery target to 350,000 units.
