On August 12, Chery opened its six-seater flagship SUV, the Fulwin T11, for pre-sale with a deposit of 1,111 yuan (155 USD). The official launch is expected to be on September 15.
For the exterior, most notably, the official claimed the front fascia is inspired by the Forbidden City’s Hall of Supreme Harmony.
The rear has a through-type taillight decorated with diamond shapes at both ends, a high-mounted brake light, and a camera. Chrome trims can also be seen throughout the vehicle body.
High-strength steel and aluminum composition accounts for 88% of the chassis.
Additionally, there is a roof lidar and cameras positioned throughout the exterior to support the Falcon 700 advanced driving assistance system, which can realize urban NOA and parking assistance.
The Chery Fulwin measures 5150/1995/1800 mm (l/w/h), and has a 3100 mm wheelbase, a 5.2㎡ seating area, and a 2,452 kg curb weight. The tire specifications are 255/45R20, 255/50R20, and 255/45R21.
Different from most models in the Chery Fulwin series, the Fulwin T11 is equipped with a range-extender powertrain instead of Chery’s Kunpeng plug-in hybrid system. The 1.5T engine (SQRH4J15) has a maximum power of 115 kW (154 hp). The lithium iron phosphate battery is supplied by Gotion, with capacities of 33.6798 kWh and 39.9168 kWh, which correspond to a pure electric range of 170 km and 180 km (assuming under CLTC conditions), respectively.
The specific parameters of the electric motor have not yet been disclosed. At the same time, the four-wheel drive version is expected to have a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time of 5 seconds.
In the cockpit, the 30-inch integrated 6K central control and entertainment screen is eye-catching and hosts an AI voice assistant. An instrument panel is present behind the two-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel.
Rear passengers have access to a 17.3-inch ceiling entertainment screen. Other configurations include 11 airbags, 23 speakers, a refrigerator embedded in the center console, and a HUD.
