GM and SAIC backed Wuling unveils interior of Bingo S EV, a competitor of Geely Xingyuan and BYD Seagull
Wuling has officially unveiled the interior of its new pure electric compact SUV, the Wuling Bingo S. The reveal comes ahead of the vehicle’s anticipated market launch within the third quarter of this year. The “S” in its name signifies “Shift,” representing a seamless transition to a vibrant lifestyle according to Wuling.
The interior design is centred around a wraparound cockpit layout. Customers will have the choice of two interior colour schemes: soft white and warm brown. The cabin is equipped with an 8.88-inch complete LCD instrument cluster and a prominent 12.8-inch central control screen, complemented by a multi-function steering wheel.
The Bingo S offers 25 storage compartments throughout the cabin. The centre console features a flexible dual cup holder island and comes standard with a 50W air-cooled wireless phone charging pad. Other details include a magic hook and integrated door handle storage compartments, for small everyday items to be organised. The trunk boasts a sunken design, with the rear seats folded down, the cargo capacity expands to 1450 litres.
From an exterior perspective, the Bingo S will be available in four colours: Relaxed Grey, Free Blue, Leisure Purple, and Blank White. The vehicle adopts a “Flowing Light Design Aesthetic,” characterised by a closed front grille flanked by rounded yet angular “flying wing” LED headlamp clusters. Aerodynamic guide vents on both sides and a trapezoidal lower air intake contribute to a sporty appearance. The rear features a “pulsar ring” taillight design.



In terms of dimensions, the Wuling Bingo S measures 4265mm in length, 1785mm in width, and 1600mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2610mm, classifying it as a compact SUV. Optional features include two 18-inch wheel designs, exterior mirrors, roof, and tailgate glass. Powering the Bingo S is a single electric motor setup, delivering a maximum output of 75 kilowatts. It will be offered with two battery options: 31.9 kWh and 41.9 kWh, providing CLTC pure electric driving ranges of 325km and 430km, respectively.

The Wuling Bingo S will compete with vehicles including the Geely Geome Xingyuan and BYD Dolphin, which were the top-selling models across all categories in the first half of 2025 in China.
