The Huawei–SAIC collaborated vehicle, Shangjie H5, officially commenced its pre-sale phase today at the HarmonyOS Smart Mobility Autumn New Product Launch Event. Priced from 169,800 yuan (23,600 USD), the new vehicle is slated for its official market launch on September 23. The H5 is positioned as a blend of Huawei’s intelligent technology and SAIC’s automotive manufacturing heritage. It comes equipped with the Huawei ADS 4 assisted driving system.
The exterior of the Shangjie H5 adopts the enclosed front fascia common in new energy vehicles, displaying the latest Shangjie brand logo at its centre. The vehicle has a roof-mounted LiDAR system, an illuminated brand logo, and intelligent driving blue lights.
From the side, the H5 opts for traditional door handles rather than the popular flush-mounted designs. The vehicle measures 4780mm in length, 1910mm in width, and 1657mm (or 1664mm) in height. The rear design features a trendy full-width taillight cluster with the Shangjie brand logo integrated into its central section.

Inside, the front cabin is equipped with a digital instrument cluster and a floating central control screen. There is also a three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel, a wireless phone charging pad, and a panoramic sunroof. Passengers in the back also benefit from a central armrest and a dedicated entertainment screen.

The Shangjie H5 offers two powertrain configurations: a pure electric (EV) version and an extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) version.

The EV model is powered by an 80kWh battery pack, delivering a CLTC pure electric range of up to 655 km. Its comprehensive electricity consumption is 13.4 kWh per 100 km.

The EREV version provides a pure electric range of 235 km and a combined range of 1360 km. This variant boasts a comprehensive fuel consumption of 4.44 litres per 100 km.
