Chery’s Jetour Shanhai L7 Plus PHEV with a 1700km combined range launches starting from 16,700 USD
Jetour, a brand under Chery, officially launched its Shanhai L7 Plus SUV today. The new model offers both five-seater and seven-seater configurations, with the seven-seater version featuring all seven seats with electric adjustment functionality.
The five-seat version of Jetour Shanhai L7 Plus is available in six variants, priced between 119,900 yuan (16,700 USD) and 161,900 yuan (22,500 USD). For an additional 4,000 yuan (560 USD), 121 km 5-Seat Luxury models and above can be upgraded to a seven-seater configuration. Powering the vehicle is Chery’s Kunpeng Super Hybrid C-DM system, which delivers a combined range of up to 1700 km.
The Shanhai L7 Plus’s headlight cluster features an integrated design with C-shaped daytime running lights and “smart driving blue lights.” Functional side vents and a lower air intake are seamlessly integrated, meeting the vehicle’s cooling needs.

The new SUV measures 4810mm in length, 1930mm in width, and 1705mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2820mm. The vehicle is equipped with 20-inch multi-spoke wheels, paired with Giti 235/50 R20 tires. At the rear, an integrated taillight design incorporates vertical light clusters on the sides, also featuring the “smart driving blue lights”.

Inside, a highlight of the interior is the upgraded 15.6-inch “Sunflower” central control screen, which can be adjusted up to 10° left or right.


The central console features a 50W wireless fast-charging pad for smartphones. The 6.4L capacity refrigerator is integrated into the armrest, offering cooling down to -6℃ and heating up to 50℃.

The third-row seatbacks also offer electric recline, a premium feature rarely seen in vehicles at this price point, especially in a seven-seater configuration where all seats are electrically adjustable.

All variants of the Jetour Shanhai L7 PLUS are equipped with Chery’s fifth-generation 1.5T GDI hybrid-specific engine. This is paired with a stepless Super Electric DHT (Dedicated Hybrid Transmission) system, comprising P1+P3 motors. The system delivers a maximum output power of 265 kW (355 hp) and a comprehensive torque of 530N·m. The pure electric range is available in two options: 121 km and 220 km, while the maximum combined range extends beyond 1700 km.
