All-new Xpeng P7 to debut in Europe at Munich Auto Show 2025
Xpeng confirmed that the all-new P7 electric liftback will make its European debut at the 2025 Munich Motor Show (IAA Mobility 2025) on September 8. The company said the appearance is not only intended to showcase its latest product to European audiences but also to present its latest AI achievements globally, highlighting how artificial intelligence can move beyond concepts and become a driving force in real-world applications.
The second-generation P7 was launched in China on August 27 with an 800V electrical architecture and dual-chamber air suspension as standard. It is offered in three versions: 820 km ultra-long range, 750 km performance, and 702 km long-range (all CLTC figures). Prices range from 219,800 yuan (approx. 30,730 USD) to 301,800 yuan (approx. 42,190 USD).
The new P7 adopts Xpeng’s “Xmart Face” design language with a slim light bar, illuminated logo, hidden millimetre-wave radar, and frameless mirrors. Other elements include a floating roof, a large liftback tailgate, retractable door handles, and an active rear spoiler. The drag coefficient is 0.201 Cd. It measures 5,017 mm long, 1,970 mm wide, and 1,427 mm tall, with a 3,008 mm wheelbase. Wheel options include 20- and 21-inch sets. The performance variant features scissor doors and Brembo brakes.
Inside, the P7 features a 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen, 8.8-inch instrument display, and a 87-inch AR-HUD. A 23-speaker 7.1.4 sound system is available. Interior colours include dark grey, light grey, and purple. The compact steering wheel integrates control knobs, while both front seats provide 16-way adjustment, heating, ventilation, and massage. Cargo capacity is 575 litres, expanding to 1,929 litres with the rear seats folded.
The rear-wheel-drive model delivers 270 kW (362 hp), while the AWD version produces 437 kW (586 hp), achieving 0–100 km/h in 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 230 km/h. Battery options include 74.9 kWh LFP and 92.2 kWh NMC packs, offering 702–820 km of CLTC range. Using 5C fast charging, the car can recover 525 km of range in 10 minutes.
Suspension setup combines double wishbone front and five-link rear with dual-chamber air suspension and adaptive damping. Weight distribution is close to 50:50.
The first-generation P7 launched in 2020 and sold 190,935 units in China, according to China EV DataTracker. The new model received 10,000 orders within seven minutes of its August release.
