Changan Nevo A06 EV pre-sale opens at 16,800 USD: 6C battery, 2.2-meter headlight, 0.205 Cd
Changan’s new mid-size all-electric sedan, the Nevo A06, is now accepting pre-orders. Six trims are available, starting at 119,900 to 159,900 yuan (16,800 to 22,400 USD), with 510 km and 630 km CLTC ranges. An EREV variant will also be available at a later date.
For the exterior, the Nevo A06 continues the family design, boasting a drag coefficient of 0.205 Cd. The 2258 mm long headlight strip consists of 236 LED units.
The taillight is comprised of 274 LED units and can be programmed to display custom signs.
Six exterior paints are offered: blue, black, purple, gray, white, and silver.
The Nevo A06 measures 4885/1916/1496 mm (l/w/h), with a wheelbase of 2922 mm. The 510 km range trims have a curb weight of 1,750 kg while the 630 km range trims weighs 1,887 kg. The minimum turning radius is 5.5 meters.
The high-end trims are equipped with a roof-mounted lidar, in addition to three millimeter-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic radars, and 11 cameras to support Changan’s Tianshu Intelligent lidar edition advanced driving assistance system. The system sits on Horizon Robotics’ J6M chip with a computing power of 128 TOPS and can realize highway NOA, parking assist, and automatic emergency steering.
The entire series is equipped with a rear electric motor.
- 510 km range trims: 120 kW (161 hp)/190 Nm e-motor, 51.48 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, 400V platform, 160 km/h top speed
- 630 km range trims: 210 kW (282 hp)/290 Nm e-motor, 63.18 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, 800V platform, 188 km/h top speed
Under 6C fast-charging, it takes 12 minutes to recharge from 10% to 80%.
Inside, the cockpit features two screens, namely, a 15.6-inch 2.5K central control screen and a 10.17-inch instrument panel. The sound system comes from 20 speakers. Wireless charging panels are also supported on the center console, along with an embedded 9.5 L double-layer refrigerator on selected trims.
The official claimed the co-pilot seat features the industry’s first 28-point Maldives electric massage mode, four more than the Mercedes-Benz S-Class. At the same time, the panoramic sunroof has an area of 2.5 ㎡. The rear seats support a maximum lying angle of 145°.
There are 38 storage slots throughout the interior. The 11.6 L glove box can be used as a small table after opening.
The front trunk capacity is up to 108 L, and is water resistant, while the rear trunk capacity is 656 L and can be expanded to 1,770 L after folding down the rear seats.
