BYD‘s Fang Cheng Bao has officially launched a new addition to its Tai 3 (FCB Ti3) lineup – the 501km rear-wheel drive Ultra version, priced at 149,800 yuan (20,800 USD).
The Fang Cheng Bao Tai 3 501km RWD Ultra version adds two new paint colours: Micro Light Pink and Ice Crystal Blue, providing consumers with more personalisation options.
Additionally, the four-wheel drive drone version has undergone configuration optimisation, with the BYD intelligent vehicle-mounted drone system now available as an optional feature. It exclusively features a new illuminated layered logo.

Compared to the 501km rear-wheel drive Max version (mid-range model), the Ultra version adds the DiSus-C intelligent damping body control system.

The new model also includes several practical features, such as electric unlocking and opening of the front trunk. The interior is equipped with a Fang Cheng Bao exclusive microphone, flashlight, and refrigerator. The audio system has been upgraded to a Dynaudio 14-speaker system.
In terms of performance, the Fang Cheng Bao Tai 3 501km RWD Ultra version continues to be powered by a rear motor with a maximum output of 160 kW (214 hp), achieving 0-100 km/h acceleration in 7.9 seconds. For range, the new car achieves 501km CLTC pure electric range. The vehicle’s 30%-80% charging time is 18 minutes.

Fang Cheng Bao Tai 3 has also launched rainbow seven-colour car wraps based on the Super 3 trend modification solution, as well as front trunk “electric installation” premium options, providing consumers with more personalisation choices.
Furthermore, the “Face Change Plan” announced by Fang Cheng Bao during the Chengdu Auto Show continues to advance. Currently, the Star Wars Urban front fascia is fully available on the Fang Cheng Bao App, while the Star Wars Trend Play front fascia will be released in October. Users can enjoy face-changing services at Fang Cheng Bao 4S stores nationwide, which also provide one year of free storage for the original front fascia.
