Under the hood, the Starlight 730 offers three powertrain options: plug-in hybrid, pure electric, and gasoline. It achieves a fuel consumption of 5.3L/100km in depleted battery mode, a pure electric range of 125km (CLTC), and a combined range of 1100km (CLTC).

The pure electric model is powered by a 100 kW (134 hp) electric motor and a 60 kWh Shenlian Battery, offering a pure electric range of 500km (CLTC). It supports 2C fast charging, enabling a 200km range boost in 15 minutes. The gasoline version is equipped with a 1.5T engine delivering a maximum power of 130 kW (174 hp), paired with either a 6-speed manual or a CVT transmission.
