Dongfeng Nissan marked its 40th anniversary in China with a brand night event on October 16, 2025, unveiling two new models – the N6 and the refreshed Teana. This Teana model is the world’s first gasoline-powered vehicle equipped with the HarmonyOS cockpit. Both of these models will be officially launched within the next few weeks.

The N6, positioned as a mid-size sedan, shares design similarities with its sibling, the N7. The vehicle features a split headlight design with a ring-shaped through-light arrangement and 7-shaped light clusters, creating a tech-forward appearance. The dimensions measure 4831mm in length, 1885mm in width, and 1491mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2815mm.

The N6 comes equipped with whirlwind-style 18-inch wheels and red brake callipers, though these may be optional features. Under the hood, it employs a plug-in hybrid system combining a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine (75kW) with an electric motor. With a 21.1 kWh battery pack, the vehicle achieves a pure electric range of up to 130km under CLTC conditions.

The refreshed Teana introduces the HarmonyOS-powered HarmonySpace 5 cockpit and Huawei Sound system. Expected to launch in Q4 with a price range of 160,000-180,000 yuan, the new Altima features Nissan’s signature V-Motion design language. The sedan measures 4920mm in length, 1850mm in width, and 1447mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2825mm.

Notable exterior elements include an integrated front grille and headlight design, dual LED projector headlamps with through-type daytime running lights, and a new matte grey colour option. The vehicle offers a choice of 17 or 19-inch wheels.

Powering the updated Teana is the carried-over 2.0T VC-Turbo engine, producing 243 horsepower (179kW) and 371 N · m of torque, paired with a CVT transmission featuring simulated 8-speed shifting.

The company also announced plans to introduce the Nissan Z Nismo to the Chinese market in 2026.
