Chery’s Exeed Exlantix ET7 with max 473hp exposed, will be offered in BEV and EREV

Chery’s upcoming Exeed Exlantix ET7 SUV will be available in BEV and EREV variants. Compared to the previously announced Exeed Exlantix ET5, the ET7 features a larger body size, with an overall length approaching 5 meters and a wheelbase of 3 meters.

Both the BEV and EREV variants share a similar design. The upper part of the front features a continuous daytime running light strip, while the lower sides are equipped with split headlights. The front bumper also comes with double chrome strips on the lower grille. At the same time, a roof lidar is present in addition to several sensors throughout the exterior, indicating advanced driving assistance functions.

The main differentiator between the two variants is that the BEV is equipped with five-spoke rims, while the EREV uses petal-shaped rims, judging from the declaration images from the Chinese MIIT.

In the rear, there is an ample of blank space with a through-type taillight and tail badges on the corners.

Positioned as a medium-to-large SUV, the Exeed Exlantix ET7 measures 4988/1975/1710 (1702) mm (l/w/h), with a wheelbase of 3000 mm, adopting a 5-seat layout. The curb weight is 2,200 kg and 2,300 kg for the BEV and EREV variant, respectively.

Furthermore, the BEV variant will be available in RWD and AWD, matched with ternary lithium battery from CATL. The RWD is powered by an electric motor with a maximum power of 230 kW (308 hp), while the AWD adds a front electric motor with a maximum power of 123 kW (165 hp). The top speed is 210 km/h.

The EREV is equipped with a 1.5T engine as the range-extender with a maximum power of 115 kW (154 hp), matched with lithium iron phosphate battery from by Anhui Deyi Energy Technology and Gotion. The top speed is 200 km/h. The electric motor specifications and range info have not been revealed at this time.
