Chery launches four-seater Fulwin A9L AWD, boasting over 2500 km combined range
Chery today officially launched its mid-to-large-sized sedan, the Chery Fulwin A9L Glory (AWD), with a price range of 181,900 to 236,900 yuan (25,500 to 33,200 USD). Positioned as the flagship sedan under the Chery Fulwin brand, the A9L boasts 6-piston brake callipers and a LiDAR system. This is a global model and will be exported overseas as Exeed ES7.
The Fulwin A9L is powered by Chery’s Kunpeng Super Hybrid CDM 6.0 system, a plug-in hybrid powertrain combining a 1.5T engine with an electric motor. Buyers can also choose from various advanced driver-assistance systems, such as the Falcon 500 and Falcon 700.
Visually, the four-seater version of the Fulwin A9L maintains a design consistent with other variants. It features a closed front grille complemented by a through-type LED light strip, with quadrilateral headlamp clusters on either side. The front bumper incorporates vertical air vents at the sides and a trapezoidal heat dissipation opening in the centre, accented by chrome trim on the front lip.

The vehicle’s side profile is clean and uncluttered, contributing to a drag coefficient of 0.23 Cd, aided by details like hidden door handles. In terms of dimensions, the new car measures 5018mm in length, 1965mm in width, and 1500mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3000mm. The rear design mirrors the front’s sophistication with a full-width taillight cluster and chrome trim on the rear bumper.

Inside, the Fulwin A9L offers a premium experience. It features a full LCD instrument panel and a two-tone, two-spoke multi-function steering wheel. A floating central multimedia touchscreen dominates the centre console, while the central tunnel area houses air vents, physical function buttons, a wireless charging pad, and dual independent cup holders. Rear passengers benefit from dedicated seat control panels offering ventilation, heating, and massage functions.

Under the hood, the entire Fulwin A9L lineup is equipped with the Kunpeng Super Hybrid CDM 6.0 power system. This system integrates a 1.5T Kunpeng super hybrid engine with an electric motor. The engine delivers a maximum power of 115 kW, while the single-motor variant boasts a maximum power of 275 kW (374 hp) and a peak torque of 530 Newton-meters. Power is transmitted through an electric hybrid DHT Pro gearbox. The vehicle is fitted with a Kunpeng square blade battery with a capacity of 33.67 kilowatt-hours, providing a CLTC pure electric range of 260 kilometres and a combined range exceeding 2500 kilometres.
