Geely will launch the 2026 Galaxy Starship 7 EM-i, known internationally as the Geely Starry EM-i, in China on November 19. The model continues to target the compact plug-in-hybrid SUV segment. The current pricing is from 97,800 to 130,800 yuan, approximately 13,400 to 17,900 USD. According to information released in China, the 2026 update focuses on configuration upgrades and a notable increase in pure-electric driving range across all trim levels.

The base model’s CLTC electric range has been increased from 55 km, the 2025 starting point, to 130 km. Another variant offers 135 km, and the highest-spec version achieves a maximum of 200 km. The vehicle continues to use the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine from the 2025 model, maintaining an output of 82 kW. The electric motor is upgraded from 160 kW to 175 kW, forming the new plug-in hybrid system for 2026.

Driver-assistance equipment also receives updates. New radar modules and camera hardware support Geely’s “H3” assisted-driving solution, which provides high-speed pilot assist and automated parking. A small blue indicator light has been added to the exterior mirrors to signal active assisted-driving functions. These features are new to the 2026 update.

Inside, the 2026 Starship 7 is fitted with a 15.4-inch central touchscreen, replacing the previous 14.6-inch display. The cabin continues to feature the Flyme Auto infotainment system, which integrates vehicle, mobile, and cloud functions, as it did in 2025. Other features carried over include a 16-speaker FlymeSound audio system, a Dragon Eagle One cockpit chip, heated/ventilated/massage front seats, a heated steering wheel, a HUD, SPA seats, parking guard functionality, and side curtain airbags.

The model’s dimensions remain unchanged from 2025: 4,740 mm in length, 1,905 mm in width, 1,685 mm in height, with a 2,755 mm wheelbase. Six exterior colours are offered: Spring Dawn Green, Autumn Moon Silver, First Snow White, Misty Grey, Ink Shadow Black, and Sky Blue, inspired by Chinese ceramic glaze finishes.

The 2026 Starship 7 EM-i continues to utilise the EM-i hybrid system, featuring an 11-in-1 electric drive unit and a thermal efficiency of 46.5%. Published figures, carried over from 2025, list a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of 7.5 seconds, 3.75 L/100 km fuel consumption with a depleted battery under CLTC, and a combined range of 1,420 km.
