Geely Galaxy unveils “V Series” high-end MPV lineup, V900 to debut in Guangzhou Auto Show this month
Geely Galaxy today officially announced the naming of its new high-end MPV series as the “Geely Galaxy V Series.” The first model in this new lineup, the Geely Galaxy V900, is scheduled to make its global debut on November 21st in Guangzhou.
The introduction of the V Series marks an expansion for Geely Galaxy, signalling its entry into the premium new energy MPV market. This new series further enriches the brand’s product portfolio, which includes the M, E, L, and A series, as well as models like the “Starship” (Xingjian) and “Starlight” (Xingyao).
The Geely Galaxy V900 is an EREV (Extended Range Electric Vehicle) counterpart to the previously launched all-electric LEVC L380 MPV. While the LEVC L380, which features a four-row, eight-seat design and a CLTC pure electric range exceeding 800 km, carries LEVC badging, the new V Series will fall under the Geely Galaxy brand.

According to previously disclosed regulatory filings, the Geely Galaxy V900 will be powered by a 1.5T range-extender powertrain, with the range extender boasting a maximum power output of 120 kW (161 hp). The vehicle will offer two battery options: a 50 kWh CATL ternary lithium battery or a 43.3 kWh CALB ternary lithium battery. These configurations provide corresponding pure electric driving ranges of 202 km/195 km and 172 km/165 km, respectively. Fuel consumption with a drained battery is rated at 7-7.2 litres per 100 km.

The V900 follows the design language of the electric L380, featuring rear sliding doors, a flat roofline, and blackened pillars. Notably, the V900 will also incorporate LEVC badges on its body, a marketing decision that may lead to some customer confusion. Other exterior highlights include a LiDAR sensor on the roof, a prominent grille with integrated headlights, and running lights positioned under the bonnet. The MPV also adopts an active air intake in the front bumper.

Dimensions for the Geely Galaxy V900 are 5360 mm in length, 1998 mm in width, and 1940 mm in height. This makes it 10 mm longer than the large Li Mega minivan. The V900 will ride on either 18-inch or 20-inch wheels and can be optionally equipped with power side steps.

Inside, the Geely Galaxy V900 will offer flexible seating arrangements, including a standard 2+2+2 six-seat layout and an optional 2+2+2+2 eight-seat configuration. The six-seat model provides a trunk depth of 919 mm, while the eight-seat variant offers 347 mm, with the fourth-row seats capable of folding flat into a floor recess. Depending on the seat layout, the V900’s curb weight ranges from 2,910 kg to 3,030 kg, with a gross weight between 3,390 kg and 3,660 kg. The vehicle’s top speed is 190 km/h.
The Geely Galaxy V900 is expected to launch in the Chinese market this year. Given that its electric variant is slated for a UK launch in 2026, there is a high probability that Geely will introduce the V900 to UK buyers with both BEV and EREV powertrain options.
