At the 2025 Guangzhou Auto Show, BYD officially unveiled the Han L, offering both electric and plug-in hybrid powertrains alongside new styling and purchase incentives. The EV version delivers up to 701 km of CLTC range on a single charge and accelerates from 0–100 km/h in 2.7 seconds, while post-subsidy prices start at 194,800 yuan (approximately 27,400 USD) and go up to 264,800 yuan (around 37,200 USD), as reported by Y-Auto.

The Han L features a sculpted hood with dual creases, a futuristic LED front lighting system, hidden door handles, and a roof-mounted laser LiDAR unit, suggesting strong autonomous-driving capabilities. New colour options include olive green and Xizi blue. Blacked-out badges, matte-black wheels, and yellow brake callipers enhance the sporty trim. At the rear, full-width taillights, winding light elements, a diffuser-like lower bumper, and silver double skid plates are used.

Inside, the Han L uses a family-style layout with a three-spoke steering wheel and a fully digital instrument cluster. All models include the “God’s Eye B” (DiPilot 300) laser-assisted driving system, which supports city and high-speed navigation.

Powertrain options include a PHEV and a pure-electric version. The PHEV uses a 1.5T engine (45.3% thermal efficiency) and front and rear motors producing 200 kW each, offering a 200 km pure-electric range and 0–100 km/h acceleration in 3.9 seconds. The EV comes in single- or dual-motor configurations, with combined output up to 810 kW, 0–100 km/h in 2.7 seconds, and a top speed of 305 km/h. It uses an 83.2 kWh fast-charge battery on BYD’s Super e 1,000‑volt platform. The rear-wheel-drive EV has a 701 km range, while the all-wheel version reaches 601 km.

The company introduced a set of seven purchase incentives for buyers who place orders before December 31, with total benefits reaching up to 52,000 yuan (≈ 7,300 USD). Limited-time styling packages are also available. A body-kit package, originally priced at 13,000 yuan (≈ 1,830 USD) and including olive green or Xizi blue paint, a floating black roof, sport trim, matte-black wheels, and four-piston yellow brake callipers, is now offered for 5,000 yuan (≈ 700 USD).
