Chery Arrizo 8 Pro launches with 192 kW turbo engine and 400 N·m torque from 18,800 USD
Chery has introduced a new trim of its Arrizo 8 Pro compact sedan for the 2025 model year. The 400TGDI DCT Luxury trim features a modest increase in engine output and a revised price. The official list price starts at 132,900 yuan, approximately USD 18,800.
The exterior design of the new trim closely matches that of the previous 2.0T version. The front fascia retains a hexagonal grille with a black honeycomb insert and chrome-accented lower bumper trim. The rear continues to use a full-width taillight layout with a quad-exhaust system, featuring dual pipes on each side. The rear right badging has been updated from “390T” to “400T” on this new trim.
Vehicle dimensions remain unchanged: 4800 mm in length, 1843 mm in width, 1469 mm in height, and a 2790 mm wheelbase. The trim offers 17‑inch and 18‑inch wheel options. Some photographs show red brake callipers on both the front and rear brakes.
The cabin layout continues that of the previous 2.0T model. Interior features include a three‑spoke steering wheel, a 10.25‑inch fully digital instrument cluster, and a 15.6‑inch floating central touchscreen display. An electronic gear selector is fitted, and the reviewed interior uses a black‑and‑red colour scheme.
The 2.0‑litre turbocharged engine has been slightly updated, producing a maximum power of 192 kW and peak torque of 400 N·m, compared with 187 kW and 390 N·m in the earlier 2.0T model.
Within Chery’s lineup, the Arrizo 8 Pro 2.0T models compete with vehicles such as the GAC Aion Yingbao R, which starts at 13.8 million yuan (approximately 1,950 USD), and the Lynk & Co 03 2.0T, starting at 15.68 million yuan (approximately 2,220 USD). In November 2025, the Arrizo 8 series recorded total sales of 11,775 units.
The updated 400TGDI DCT Luxury trim retains the previous model’s design and interior layout while delivering a minor increase in engine output, thereby maintaining its market positioning in the compact sedan segment.
