Changan’s global model Deepal S07 expands lineup with 630 km variant, starting from 23,100 USD
Deepal, Changan‘s NEV brand, officially launched the S07 630 Long-Range Edition today. This new variant of the mid-size SUV is available in two models, with prices ranging from 164,900 to 174,900 yuan (23,100 to 24,500 USD). A key highlight of the new edition is its integration of the Huawei Qiankun ADS SE assisted driving system, coupled with a 630 km CLTC pure electric range.
The Deepal S07’s lighting system offers interactive functions such as pedestrian courtesy, driving status reminders, and special scene animations. Customers can choose from five exterior paint colours with an optional dual-tone body for added personalisation.
In terms of dimensions, the S07 measures 4750mm in length, 1930mm in width, and 1625mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2900mm. The rear design is accentuated by through-type taillights, a stylish rear spoiler, and low-mounted guide lights, contributing to its strong athletic appeal. The front row features dual-layer soundproof glass, while the rear is equipped with privacy windows.
Inside, the cabin is centred around a 15.6-inch 2.5K high-definition central control screen and a 55-inch AR-HUD augmented reality system. All models come standard with Qualcomm’s 3rd-generation digital cockpit platform, powered by the Snapdragon 8295P chip. Rear passengers benefit from a 4.2-inch functional screen, with expandability for an iPad. The entire vehicle boasts a 20-speaker Dolby audio system, complemented by ambient lighting.
The new Deepal S07 630 Long-Range Edition is equipped with a rear-mounted single electric motor powertrain, delivering a maximum power of 190 kW (255 hp) and a peak torque of 290N·m. It accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 7.5 seconds. The vehicle is powered by a 77.94kWh battery pack, providing its 630 km CLTC pure electric range.
The integrated Huawei Qiankun ADS SE assisted driving system offers a suite of intelligent features, including:
- High-speed Navigation Cruise Assist (NCA): Provides intelligent assisted driving on national highways, urban expressways, and ring roads, featuring smart lane changes, obstacle avoidance, cornering, speed adjustment, and on/off-ramp navigation.
- Urban LCC Plus: Supports lane cruising assist, lever-activated lane changes, traffic light control, and urban lane change assist.
- Intelligent Parking Assist: Supporting over 160 parking scenarios and multiple parking methods and angles, including off-vehicle parking and memory parking.
