Volkswagen Anhui’s ID. Unyx 07 has been captured in recent photos from YZ, revealing its exterior design and some confirmed specifications. The vehicle is a mid-size electric sedan developed on the China Electrical Architecture (CEA) platform, which was co-developed with Xpeng. According to official filings, the ID. Unyx 07 is equipped with a 170 kW (231 hp) electric motor and a 59.9 kWh battery, providing a claimed range of 558 km.

The leaked images indicate that the ID. Unyx 07 retains the ID’s family styling. Unyx 06. The front fascia features a closed design with upward-swept IQ. Light matrix headlamps connected by a full-width LED strip, alongside a gold illuminated VW badge. The front bumper features blacked-out elements and sharp lines, with additional sporty detailing along the lower sections.

The body measures 4853 mm in length, 1852 mm in width, and 1566 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2826 mm. The side profile displays a fastback silhouette with a segmented upward waistline and flush door handles. The vehicle offers 19-inch six-spoke and 20-inch six-hole wheels. At the rear, a full-width tail lamp spans the back, accompanied by an illuminated logo, a small raised rear spoiler, and a blacked-out lower diffuser.

Interior details have not been fully revealed, but the ID. Unyx 07 is expected to feature a floating central display, a head-up display, and a panoramic sunroof, similar to the ID. Unyx 06. The CEA-based electrical and electronic architecture supports advanced intelligent functions, including over-the-air updates.

These systems align with Volkswagen Anhui’s broader rollout of CEA-based vehicles, which is planned to include over 20 electrified intelligent models by 2027.

The ID. Unyx 07’s development was led by a Chinese team and completed within approximately 18 months. The combination of the CEA platform and Xpeng partnership represents Volkswagen Anhui’s approach to producing mid-size electric sedans with integrated intelligent systems for the Chinese market.
