Xpeng G7 EREV will launch in Q1 2026: 1,704 km range, 5C battery
The Xpeng G7 EREV variant will boast a CLTC pure electric range of 430 km and a combined range of 1,704 km, making it the world’s longest range SUV, according to the automaker. Equipped with an 800V platform and 5C fast-charging battery, it can recharge 314 km of range in 12 minutes. The official launch is scheduled for the first quarter of 2026.
Currently, the Xpeng G7 BEV variant has three trims on sales with a price range of 195,800 to 225,800 yuan (27,900 to 32,200 USD) and CLTC cruising ranges of 602 km and 702 km.

The range-extender powertrain system will consist of a 1.5T engine and an electric motor, with a maximum engine power of 110 kW (148 hp) and a maximum motor power of 218 kW (292 hp). The battery (lithium iron phosphate according to the Chinese MIIT) capacity will be 55.8 kWh and the fuel tank capacity will be 60 L.
The declared curb weights were 2,245 kg and 2,255 kg.

For the exterior, the Xpeng G7 EREV maintains the same design as the BEV variant, continuing Xpeng’s second-generation X Face front design.

From the side, the Xpeng G7 EREV features black exterior mirrors, hidden door handles, and privacy glass for the rear windows. Dimensionally, the EREV is 26 mm longer, measuring 4918/1925/1655 mm (l/w/h), with a wheelbase of 2890 mm.

At the rear, the through-type taillight cluster exhibits a C-shape, the “XPENG” brand logo is located in the center of the tailgate, and the charging port is situated on the right rear fender. The biggest difference between the EREV and BEV is the addition of a “POWER X” badge on the lower right corner.
The Xpeng G7 will be Xpeng’s third EREV model after the X9 MPV and P7+ sedan. In the first quarter of 2026, Xpeng plans to launch three EREV models. Then four more models with EREV and EV modes in 2026.
