Chery’s iCaur V27 five-seater EREV off-road SUV rolled off the production line in China. Its pre-order opened in December 2025, being the largest model and the first EREV model in the iCaur brand. Its official launch is scheduled for the first quarter of this year, available in RWD and AWD.
Five exterior paints are available for consumers to choose from: silver, yellow, beige, black, and blue.
For the appearance, the new car features the classic boxy square design of an off-road SUV, circular headlights, conventional door handles, black trim details on the fenders, vertically arranged taillights, a side-hinged tailgate, and an externally mounted rear spare tire.
Dimensionally, the iCaur V27 measures 4909/1976/1855 (1894) mm in (l/w/h), with a wheelbase of 2910 mm, making it the largest model under the iCaur brand to date.
The range-extender system is composed of a 1.5T engine and electric motor(s), paired with 34.317 kWh and 20.638 kWh battery packs. The engine has a maximum power of 105 kW (141 hp).
The RWD has a maximum power output of 185 kW (248 hp), while the AWD has a maximum power output of 335 kW (449 hp), a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time of 5.5 seconds, a CLTC pure electric range of 210 km, and a comprehensive range of 1,200 km.
At this time, the detailed battery chemistry and range info for the RWD have not been revealed.
The advanced driving assistance system onboard the vehicle is supported by Chery’s Falcon 700, powered by Horizon Robotics’ Journey J6P chip with 560 TOPS. There are also 27 sensors located around the vehicle.
Inside, the cockpit has a 15.4-inch 2.5K central control screen, supported by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip. An instrument cluster, rectangular air-conditioning outlets, and physical buttons under the central control screen for configuration controls are also present.
Other configurations include a segmented sunroof, electrically adjustable front seats that come with heating and ventilation functions.
