Zeekr 8X interior revealed: Naim Audio, and tech inherited from 9X flagship
Zeekr officially disclosed the interior of the 8X plug-in hybrid SUV on March 8, confirming a cabin configuration derived from the flagship 9X, according to IT-home. The model utilises the SEA-S super hybrid architecture and is scheduled for a commercial market launch in Q2 2026.
Cabin Technology
The Zeekr 8X interior features a dual-screen layout with a central infotainment display and a dedicated front-passenger screen. The cockpit features a column-mounted gear selector and physical haptic buttons on the dashboard and door panels for seat heating, ventilation, and massage.
Rear passenger amenities include a roof-mounted entertainment screen and integrated window blinds. The vehicle utilises a high-fidelity audio system from British manufacturer Naim. Similar to the 9X, the 8X includes a wireless charging pad for a mobile phone and dual front cup holders.

MIIT data confirms two ternary lithium battery options (55.1 kWh and 70 kWh) supplied by the CATL-Geely joint venture. The platform supports a 6C charging rate, theoretically enabling a full charge in 10 minutes. The powertrain features a 2.0T engine from Aurobay Technologies (205 kW) paired with a tri-motor system delivering a combined 1,030 kW (1,381 hp).
Market Context
Zeekr reported 23,867 vehicle deliveries in February 2026, a 70% year-over-year increase. The 8X is positioned in the 450,000 yuan (65,217 USD) segment, slotting between the 7X and 9X. For comparison, the Li Auto L9, a primary segment competitor, delivered 31,165 units in the same period.
The exterior features an active intelligent grille and a coastline-style taillight assembly with 54,894 diamond-shaped facets. Advanced driver assistance is supported by a roof-mounted LiDAR unit and the Haohan AI digital chassis. The 8X offers pure electric ranges of 256 km, 257 km, and 328 km (WLTC).
