GAC Aion N60 EV with 610 km range set for pre-sales launch on April 16
GAC Aion has officially announced that its all-new N60 compact electric SUV will begin pre-sales on April 16, 2026. The vehicle, which has already opened for blind orders, is expected to be priced under 150,000 yuan (21,700 USD) and will come standard with a zero-gravity co-pilot seat, LiDAR, and high-level intelligent driver assistance systems across all variants.
The N60 features a through-type light bar across the front that integrates dual LED daytime running lights, rectangular headlamps, and an illuminated logo. The design work was led by Benoit Jacob, the renowned automotive designer formerly with BMW, whose portfolio includes the BMW i3, i8, and other iconic models.
The compact SUV measures 4,615mm in length, 1,860mm (or 1,883mm) in width, and 1,673mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,775mm. Customers can choose from seven exterior colours: Star Ring Silver, Soft Gold, Clear Sky Blue, Polar White, Night Shadow Black, Cloud Grey, and Sea Glow Grey.

Inside, the N60 offers three interior themes: Soft Light White, Caramel Warm Velvet, and Morning Mist Cool Grey. A 15.6-inch 2.5K high-definition screen serves as the centrepiece, running the ADiGO 6.0 intelligent cockpit system that integrates AI voice large models, Huawei Nebula Space, and multi-system smartphone connectivity for both Apple and Android devices.
Additional interior features include a 2.38㎡ panoramic sunroof with electric sunshade, a trunk with 447L of standard capacity expandable to 1,947L, and 35 storage spaces throughout the cabin.
The N60 comes standard with a zero-gravity co-pilot seat. Front seats are equipped with heating, ventilation, massage, and memory functions, while rear seats offer adjustable backrests ranging from 117° to 137°.
For driver assistance, the vehicle is equipped with 4D millimetre-wave radar and LiDAR as standard. The system utilises an end-to-end large model derived from WeRide’s L4 autonomous driving technology, supporting full-scenario high-level intelligent driving assistance and intelligent parking.
The N60 is powered by an amorphous alloy silicon carbide electric drive system. The motor produces a maximum output of 165 kW (221 hp), with an energy consumption of 11.7 kWh per 100 km. The vehicle features GAC Aion’s battery and achieves a maximum pure electric range of 610 km. The chassis incorporates a five-link independent rear suspension.
GAC Aion also filed a battery-swapping version for this model.
