Geely’s global model Galaxy A7 EV with 550 km range had its official images revealed
Geely has officially released the first images of the Galaxy A7 EV, a pure electric mid-size sedan that has previously been filed with China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The electric variant joins the existing plug-in hybrid version, which is currently priced between 89,800 and 125,800 yuan (13,000-18,200 USD).
Exterior design
The A7 EV features a closed grille design at the front, with vertical decorations in the fog lamp areas. The charging port is positioned on the right front fender. Measuring 4,935mm in length, 1,905mm in width, and 1,500mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,845mm, the EV variant is slightly longer and taller than its plug-in hybrid counterpart (4,918mm × 1,905mm × 1,495mm). The vehicle offers two tire specifications: 215/60 R17 and 225/55 R18. At the rear, the through-type taillight design has been subtly refined for a more sophisticated lighting effect.
Interior and technology
The interior layout remains largely consistent with the plug-in hybrid version. According to the official images, the A7 EV is expected to feature a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.6-inch or 15.4-inch central touchscreen. The vehicle will debut Geely’s Galaxy Flyme Auto intelligent cockpit system with Widget card mode, supporting AI voice interaction across four zones, visible-to-speak functionality, and continuous dialogue. Smartphone connectivity includes HiCar, Flyme Link, ICCOA, and CarPlay.
Additional features
Based on the plug-in hybrid variant, the A7 EV is expected to offer 5-degree panoramic imaging, Bluetooth mobile key, a 16-speaker Flyme Sound audio system including headrest speakers for the driver, 50W wireless phone charging, dual-zone automatic climate control, and 256-color ambient lighting.
Powertrain
The Geely Galaxy A7 EV is equipped with a 160kW (215hp) electric motor and lithium iron phosphate battery packs. Two battery capacities of 49.52kWh and 58.05kWh provide respective range options of 470km and 550km.
