Wagon format with updated design
The Avatr 06T is positioned as a wagon derivative of the 06 sedan, adopting a fastback-style rear with a large tailgate rather than a traditional boxy estate shape. Exterior design remains largely consistent at the front, including the signature “7-shaped” daytime running lights.
Changes focus on the rear, where a more extended roofline and a standard roof rack rated at 75 kg improve practicality. The trunk capacity is listed at 517 litres. A full-width rear light bar and sporty lower bumper are also introduced.
Huawei stack expands
The model integrates Huawei’s latest intelligent driving and cockpit systems. It features a new-generation 896-line lidar sensor paired with ADS 4.1 driver assistance.
Inside, the vehicle features a 15.6-inch central display and a 35.4-inch integrated instrument screen. The HarmonySpace 5 system runs alongside Huawei’s MoLA large model. Front seats feature a “zero-gravity” configuration, while rear seats offer heating, ventilation, and massage.
Earlier disclosures indicated the 06T would be among the first Avatr models to adopt Huawei’s next-generation lidar stack, positioning it within the brand’s latest technology cycle.

Dual powertrain strategy
The 06T continues Avatr’s dual-powertrain approach, offering both battery-electric and extended-range variants.
The BEV version comes in dual-motor rear-drive and tri-motor all-wheel-drive configurations. The top variant delivers a combined output approaching previously reported figures of around 955 hp, with acceleration down to 2.78 seconds.
The extended-range version pairs a 1.5T engine with a 45.06 kWh battery, delivering 330 km of pure electric range and up to 1250 km combined range under CLTC conditions.
Positioning in the segment
Based on presale pricing and specifications, the Avatr 06T targets premium electric wagons and crossovers. Chinese media comparisons include models such as Nio ET5 Touring and Zeekr 7 GT.
As a later entrant, the 06T combines Huawei’s latest hardware stack with both BEV and EREV configurations, expanding choice within the segment.
