Jetour Traveller Plus and C-DM PHEV begin pre-sales starting at 27,500 USD

Chery‘s Jetour officially launched pre-sales for its expanded Traveller lineup on April 9, introducing the Traveller Plus and Traveller Plus C-DM models. The Traveller Plus offers two variants with pre-sale prices ranging from 189,900 to 199,900 yuan (27,500 to 29,000 USD), while the Traveler Plus C-DM comes in four variants priced from 189,900 to 219,900 yuan (27,500 to 31,900 USD). Both models are available in five-seat or seven-seat configurations.

Exterior design

The Traveller Plus maintains the original Traveller’s design language, featuring the JETOUR light grille and matrix headlights at the front. The body length has been extended by 249mm, reaching 5,034mm, while the wheelbase remains at 2,800mm. All variants come equipped with standard 20-inch matte wheels.

Off-road capabilities include an approach angle of 28°, departure angle of 23°, minimum ground clearance of 220mm (205mm for C-DM models), and wading depth of 700mm. The rear retains the boxy design with a small external storage box, featuring a magic electric suction tailgate and waterfall-style through taillights, with the license plate holder repositioned to the left side of the rear bumper.

Interior and technology

The interior features a 15.6-inch 2.5K central display powered by the Qualcomm 8255 intelligent chip. The system integrates iFLYTEK’s Spark AI large model combined with DeepSeek technology.

The seats feature a premium diamond stitching design with a 10-layer comfort structure. Front seats offer heating and ventilation, with the driver’s seat providing 8-point massage functionality. The front passenger seat includes a one-touch “Queen’s Seat” mode. Second-row seats offer heating and come equipped with small table trays. Additional features include a 64 sq inch panoramic sunroof, 65 storage spaces throughout the cabin, and a maximum cargo volume of 1,653L, which can be converted into a 2-meter-long sleeping area. C-DM models feature 16 speakers plus a trunk subwoofer.

Powertrain options

The Traveller Plus is equipped with a 2.0TGDI engine paired with an 8AT transmission, delivering maximum power of 187 kW (251 hp) and maximum torque of 390N·m. The vehicle features the XWD fully automatic intelligent four-wheel-drive system, comprising BorgWarner’s sixth-generation intelligent torque manager and an intelligent limited-slip differential lock.

The Traveller Plus C-DM adopts the Kunpeng Super Performance Hybrid C-DM 1.5T plug-in hybrid system with dual motors. The combined system output reaches 455kW (610hp) with a combined torque of 920N·m. CLTC pure electric range options include 129km, 211km, and 212km, with a combined range of up to 1,300km.
