BAIC Arcfox has officially unveiled the interior images of its new A0-Class hatchback, the T1, which is scheduled to begin pre-sales in late August.
The T1’s cabin features a dual-tone colour scheme with high-quality leather upholstery and diamond-pattern stitching that creates an upscale atmosphere despite its compact positioning. The clean, minimalist dashboard houses an 8.8-inch fully digital instrument cluster paired with a floating 15.6-inch narrow-bezel central touchscreen. The multi-function steering wheel continues the two-tone theme, while an electronic shift lever adds to the modern aesthetic.
One of the T1’s features is its 2.34m² panoramic glass roof equipped with an electric sunshade that can block direct sunlight.

The front seats can be fully reclined and, with headrests removed, can connect with the rear seats to create a flat resting surface. The rear cargo area offers 459 litres of standard storage space, expandable to 1,352 litres with the rear seats folded down.

The T1’s exterior dimensions measure 4,337mm in length, 1,860mm in width, and 1,572mm in height, with a 2,770mm wheelbase. Arcfox describes the cabin as using “extremely pure” design principles with nano-level soft anti-pollution coating that meets maternal and infant safety standards.

Powering the T1 is a single electric motor system from CRRC Times Electric with a maximum output of 95kW (127 hp), paired with a lithium iron phosphate battery from Zhongzhou Times. CarNewsChina expects the electric range to exceed 400 kilometres.

The exterior design follows Arcfox’s latest Arc-Flow design philosophy with “dynamic ice-crystal” through-type headlights inspired by glacial formations and diamond facets. The side profile features 18-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels for its class, while the rear incorporates a black through-type decorative panel with rectangular taillights.

Editor’s comment
In China, the best-selling new energy vehicles currently are compact models priced around 10,000 USD. By 2025, the top two models are expected to be Geely’s Xingyuan and BYD’s Seagull. Clearly, BAIC also wants to enter this market with the Arcfox T1.
