Avatr has announced that pre-sales for its 2026 Avatr 07 SUV will commence on September 4, 2025. While official details remain under wraps, teaser posters suggest the new iteration will feature Huawei‘s ADS 4 intelligent driving assistance system.
The upcoming 2026 Avatr 07 appears to retain the overall styling of its predecessor, indicating that the primary enhancements will focus on its configuration and technological offerings. As hinted by official teasers, it is likely the new model will integrate Huawei’s advanced ADS 4 system.
The Avatr 07 was first globally unveiled and opened for pre-sales at the 2024 Chengdu Auto Show on August 30, 2024. It was Avatr’s inaugural model to offer both pure electric (EV) and extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) powertrains, and the first to embody the “CHN” strategy – a deep collaboration between Changan Automobile, Huawei, and CATL.

This model integrated the latest innovations from its partners, including Changan Automobile’s Kunlun Smart Range Extender and Taihang Intelligent Control Chassis, Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 3.0 and HarmonyOS Smart Cockpit, and CATL’s Shenxing 4C Supercharging Battery and Shenxing Super Hybrid Battery.

The Avatr 07 was also among the first SUVs to feature Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 3.0 and HarmonyOS Smart Cockpit, and the first to utilise the 39 kWh Shenxing Super Hybrid Battery, co-developed with CATL specifically for EREVs, boasting peak discharge powers of 9C (full charge) and 7.7C (low charge).
The current Avatr 07’s pure electric variant provides CLTC pure electric driving ranges of 650 km and 610 km. The extended-range version is equipped with a 1.5T engine delivering a maximum power of 115 kW. For its electric drive, the two-wheel-drive EREV model features a single motor with a maximum power of 231 kW (310 hp), while the four-wheel-drive EREV model utilises a dual-motor setup, with a front motor producing 131 kW (176 hp) and a rear motor producing 231 kW (310 hp). Both EREV configurations are powered by a 39.05 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack, offering CLTC pure electric ranges of 230 km for the two-wheel-drive and 220 km for the four-wheel-drive variants.
