Geely’s Lynk & Co launched upgraded 08 EM-P with LiDAR, starting from 22,200 USD
Geely’s refreshed Lynk & Co 08 EM-P officially hit the market on September 24, 2025, featuring upgraded autonomous driving capabilities thanks to newly added LiDAR sensors. The plug-in hybrid SUV launched with special introductory pricing ranging from 159,800 to 212,800 yuan (22,200 to 29,600 USD).
The updated model maintains the brand’s design language while introducing some sporty elements, including an enlarged lower air intake and enhanced side air channels. The headlights have been refined with new “brilliant starry sky” elements, and a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor has been added to boost the vehicle’s driver assistance systems.
While the side profile remains largely consistent with the current model, the refreshed 08 EM-P sports new wheel designs and retains the two-tone body paint and hidden door handles. Small blue indicator lights have been added beneath the side mirrors to provide clearer alerts for driver assistance functions. The vehicle maintains its dimensions at 4,825mm length, 1,915mm width, and 1,660mm height, with a wheelbase of 2,848mm.

The rear design preserves the model’s full-width taillights, complemented by a darkened rear diffuser. Two new exterior colours join the lineup: Azure Blue and Flowing Gold.

Interior updates include the door panels, speaker covers, door mechanisms, and storage compartments. A new hot/cold storage box has been integrated into the centre armrest, and the centre console has been redesigned to increase storage capacity. The vehicle features the Lynk & Flyme Auto 2.0 infotainment system.

Powertrain options remain unchanged from the current model, featuring a 1.5T plug-in hybrid system available in single-motor and dual-motor configurations. The single-motor version delivers a combined 280 kW (375 hp) of power and 615 Nm of torque, while the dual-motor variant produces 436 kW (585 hp) and 905 Nm. CLTC pure electric range options include 160km, 210km, and 230km, depending on the configuration.
