The EZ-60 is based on Changan’s EPA architecture and is available with two powertrain choices: a pure electric version and a range-extended hybrid version. Both versions share a unified exterior design that reflects Mazda’s design philosophy while adapting to the requirements of new energy vehicles. The front adopts a closed grille layout and features a light-up Mazda badge, split headlamp clusters, and slim daytime running lights.
Hidden door handles, electronic side mirrors, and aerodynamic channels built into the D-pillars and front bumper emphasise the SUV’s modern styling.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,850 mm in length, 1,935 mm in width, and 1,620 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,902 mm. All trims are equipped with 19-inch wheels as standard, while higher trims can be fitted with 21-inch rims. Customers can also choose from seven exterior colour options, including two exclusive finishes.
The cabin features a wraparound layout and incorporates technology-oriented elements. A 26.45-inch 5K floating display serves as the central control interface, paired with a 4nm cabin processor. A 50-inch AR head-up display is standard, with a 100-inch 3D-HUD available as an upgrade. Additional equipment includes a dual-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel, wireless charging, and a premium 23-speaker audio system supporting Dolby Atmos. Seating is designed with zero-gravity front chairs that offer heating, ventilation, massage, and multiple power adjustments. The second row features a 4/6 split folding design.

On the technology side, the EZ-60 is equipped with multiple radars and cameras to enable Level 2 driver assistance. Functions include adaptive cruise, lane keeping, navigation-assisted driving in both city and highway environments, and automated parking. Connectivity features cover a lifetime basic data service, free entertainment data for two years, and support for intelligent voice control.
For performance, the pure electric model features a 190 kW rear-mounted motor, paired with a 77.94 kWh lithium-iron-phosphate battery, which delivers a CLTC-rated range of 600 km. The range-extended version pairs a 1.5-litre generator with a 31.73 kWh battery, achieving 200 km of pure electric range while retaining the same 190 kW motor output.
Changan Mazda stated that the EZ-60 will be followed by additional new energy models, marking an expansion of the brand’s lineup in China before entering overseas markets.
