Wuling Binguo S launched in China with 430 km range, starts at 9,400 USD
SAIC-GM-Wuling (SGMW) announced the official launch of the Binguo S (also known as Bingo S in some markets), a new small pure-electric vehicle, expanding the brand’s Binguo family lineup in the Chinese market. The model is positioned above the standard Binguo hatchback and joins the recently introduced Binguo Plus SUV.
The Binguo S is available in four variants, with prices ranging from 66,800 yuan (9,400 USD) to 79,800 yuan (11,300 USD). A replacement subsidy lowers the price range to between 63,800 yuan (9,000 USD) and 76,800 yuan (10,900 USD).

The Binguo S adopts a design with smooth lines and rounded details. At the front, it features a closed grille paired with polygonal headlamps that incorporate C-shaped daytime running lights. The rear section features a slim, through-type tail light design and a roof spoiler. The vehicle measures 4,265 mm in length, 1,785 mm in width, and 1,600 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,610 mm.
Colour choices include Relaxed Grey, Free Blue, Leisure Purple, and Clear White. The model rides on 16-inch wheels and positions its charging port on the left front fender.
Inside, the Binguo S offers a minimalist cabin with two interior colour themes: Soft White and Warm Brown. Standard equipment includes an 8.88-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.8-inch floating centre display, a three-spoke steering wheel, and a column-mounted gear selector.
All models come equipped with features such as tyre pressure monitoring, a reversing camera, cruise control, smartphone Bluetooth connectivity, push-button start, synthetic leather seating, six speakers, automatic headlights, and driving mode selection. Higher trims add a panoramic camera system, electric driver’s seat adjustment, heated front seats, and heated/electrically folding mirrors.
The infotainment system integrates Wuling’s latest Lingyu AI platform, supporting Hicar, Carlink, and CarPlay. Storage practicality is enhanced by a hollowed-out design under the secondary dashboard and 50W wireless phone charging.
The Binguo S is powered by a front-mounted electric motor delivering 75 kW and 180 Nm of torque. Battery options include a 31.9 kWh and a 41.9 kWh lithium-iron-phosphate pack, corresponding to a CLTC range of 325 km and 430 km, respectively. The model also supports DC fast charging, enabling 30% to 80% charge within approximately 35 minutes.
Wuling equips the Binguo S with its self-developed Shenlian battery, which features enhanced structural strength through a MUST (Modular Ultra-Safety Technology) design. Standard safety systems include electronic stability control, automatic hold, hill-start assist, and four airbags.
With the introduction of the Binguo S, the Binguo lineup now covers three models in China. Primary competitors include the Geely Xingyuan (starting at 68,800 yuan / 9,700 USD), BYD Dolphin (starting at 99,800 yuan / 14,100 USD), and the new MG4.
