The Ora 5 continues the family design, maintaining a cute and retro style. Its body dimensions are 4471/1833(1844)/1641 mm (l/w/h), with a wheelbase of 2720 mm, positioned as a compact SUV.

The high-end trims are equipped with a roof lidar for a total of 27 sensors to support the onboard Coffee Pilot Ultra advanced driving assistance system self-developed by GWM, which can realize highway NOA, urban NOA, and parking assist.
Power comes from an electric motor with a maximum power of 150 kW (201 hp), matched with a lithium iron phosphate battery from Svolt, with two capacity options: 45.3 kWh and 58.3 kWh, corresponding to a CLTC driving range of 480 km and 580 km, respectively.

Inside, the cockpit boasts a minimalist design, featuring a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch 2.5K floating central control screen, paired with a two-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel. The vehicle operating system is supported by GWM’s third-generation Coffee OS, which integrates with DeepSeek’s large language AI model and is powered by MediaTek’s 4nm cockpit chip.

Physical toggle switches are located below the air vents with a chrome finish. A wireless fast charging panel for mobile phones is located on the center console. The 1.65 m2 panoramic sunroof brings in plenty of natural lighting.
