The Chinese automaker Lynk & Co, backed by Geely, announced on Weibo that the first batch of orders for its newly launched Lynk & Co 03+ TCR racing model has sold out ahead of production scheduled through April 2026. The vehicle, priced at 1.40 million yuan (approximately 192,000 USD), represents the first mass-produced TCR-spec touring car developed entirely by a Chinese brand.

The sale was confirmed during the “CO Customer” conference on December 6, 2025, where Lynk & Co announced the official launch of the 03+ TCR. The order intake reportedly closed rapidly, underscoring strong demand for what the manufacturer describes as a “race-ready” product.

The 03+ TCR is based on the production version of the third-generation Lynk & Co 03 sedan. Its chassis conforms to TCR regulations and features extensive race-oriented modifications compared with the road car. The powertrain employs a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine, part of the “Drive-E” family, that has been reworked with upgraded cooling components, a revised turbocharger, and a recalibrated engine map.

The tuned engine delivers a peak output of 345.2 HP and 420 Nm of torque. Gearbox duties are handled by an Xtrac 1046 six-speed sequential transmission with paddle-shift operation.

To meet the dynamic and safety demands of racing usage, the 03+ TCR is equipped with a comprehensive technical package. The braking system comprises six-piston monoblock callipers up front, paired with 380 mm ventilated discs, and two-piston callipers at the rear, paired with 290 mm ventilated discs.

The vehicle also benefits from a newly designed “Gen3” aerodynamic kit including widened bodywork, an aggressive front lip, functional hood vents, extended side skirts and a prominent carbon-fibre rear wing. The interior is stripped down and outfitted with a roll cage, racing bucket seats and other motorsport-standard safety fittings. The target weight, including driver, is 1,265 kilograms.

The manufacturer indicated that while the 03+ TCR will initially campaign in sprint-style track competitions, it is also intended for future expansion into endurance racing formats, which demand sustained balancing of engine performance, cooling efficiency and chassis durability.

The successful initial order run of the 03+ TCR reinforces Lynk & Co’s commitment to motorsport and suggests sustained interest among domestic buyers in high-performance Chinese-brand race cars.
