The Audi Q5 was first introduced in 2008. In March 2010, the Audi Q5 was officially manufactured in China. The second-generation model was unveiled at the 2016 Paris Motor Show and introduced to the Chinese market in 2018 as a long-wheelbase version named “Q5L”. At the 2021 Shanghai Auto Show, the Audi Q5L underwent a mid-cycle refresh and has been on sale ever since. The version now available for pre-order is the third-generation long-wheelbase version of the Audi Q5.

The exterior paints are available in black, green, white, silver, and brown.
In terms of advanced driving assistance functions, the all-new Audi Q5L is integrated with Huawei’s Qiankun technology that ultilizes dual lidars to realize map-free Level 2 driving assistance capabilities.
Power comes from an EA888 Evo5 2.0TFSI engine, same as on the Audi A5L, and has a maximum power of 200 kW (high-power version) or 150 kW (lower-power version). The transmission system is a 7-speed DCT paired with a quattro all-wheel-drive system.
A five-link independent suspension system at both the front and rear axles is present.

The interior design is carried over from the overseas version, featuring an 11.9-inch LCD instrument cluster and a 14.5-inch central touchscreen display. A 10.9-inch entertainment screen is located in front of the co-pilot seat, and a 13.1-inch HUD system is available as optional. It also includes features such as Apple CarPlay smartphone connectivity and wireless charging.
