Shanghai General Motors Co Ltd (Shanghai GM) will recall 47,415 Chevrolet Aveo-model cars over faulty brake fluid reservoirs, China’s consumer quality watchdog said Friday.

Problems with some of the vehicles’ components could lead to improper monitoring of brake fluid levels, which may result in drivers not being aware of low fluid levels under extreme circumstances, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) said. Shanghai GM will replace the recalled vehicles’ brake fluid reservoirs to eliminate safety risks, the AQSIQ said. Via: ChinaDaily.
