The new Audi A4 Allroad has been spied testing in China. It will be launched on the Chinese car market later this year. Audi currently doesn’t sell the A4 Allroad in China but sees opportunity’s now as Chinese car buyers more and more go for ‘individualistic’ cars.

The A4 Allroad will be imported into China. Audi only makes the A4L sedan locally at the FAW-Volkswagen joint venture. The market for wagons, coupes and convertibles is still too small to justify the investment for local production. The China-bound Allroad will likely be powered by a 2.0 TFSI with 211hp and 350nm, mated to a 8-speed automatic. Price is expected to start around 500.000 yuan.
