Xiaomi Auto today announced a new interior colour for its new generation SU7 sedan, “Cream Beige”. The updated model, which starts at 229,900 yuan (32,800 USD), boasts multiple upgrades in interior design, chassis, powertrain, and assisted driving capabilities, positioning it as a strong contender in the C-segment electric vehicle market.

The newly introduced “Cream Beige” interior, inspired by “warm and natural sand pottery craftsmanship,” aims to deliver a “simple sense of luxury.” It utilises a low-saturation warm palette complemented by exquisite craftsmanship and refined stitching details on the door panels and seats. The sub-instrument panel and steering wheel have also been completely redesigned.

The new generation SU7 is available in three variants, with prices ranging from 229,900 yuan (32,800 USD) to 309,900 yuan (44,300 USD). This represents a general price increase of over 10,000 yuan (1,400 USD) compared to the current model.

While maintaining a largely consistent exterior design with its predecessor, the new SU7 features a millimetre-wave radar integrated into the front grille. Its “waterdrop headlights” offer a high beam illumination range of up to 400 km. Buyers will also be spoiled for choice with dozens of wheel rim options. The vehicle retains its C-segment sedan dimensions, measuring 4997 mm in length, 1963 mm in width, and 1445 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3000 mm.

Underneath, the new SU7 receives substantial chassis upgrades. All models come standard with 245mm front and 265mm rear tyres. The Pro and Max versions offer a closed dual-chamber air suspension system and CDC adaptive dampers. Braking performance is enhanced across the board with front four-piston fixed callipers and larger brake pad areas.

All variants of the new SU7 include LiDAR and 4D millimetre-wave radar, powered by a computing chip delivering 700 TOPS. The system leverages Xiaomi’s HAD end-to-end assisted driving technology.

Powering the new SU7 is the V6s Plus Super Motor, standard across all models. The single-motor version delivers a maximum power of 235 kW (315 hp) and a top speed of 240 km/h. The dual-motor configuration features a 220 kW (295 hp) front motor and a 288 kW (386 hp) rear motor, achieving a top speed of 265 km/h.

A notable upgrade is the adoption of an 800V architecture across the entire lineup. The standard version offers a range of 720 km, while the Pro version extends this to over 900 km. The Max version provides an 835 km range. Built on an 897V silicon carbide high-voltage platform, the SU7 supports ultra-high-voltage fast charging, capable of adding up to 670 km of range in 15 minutes.
