Nio Firefly RHD version launched in Thailand, priced at 24,500 USD

Nio has officially launched the right-hand drive version of its Firefly electric city car in Thailand. This model has been expanding its overseas presence, having previously entered the Singapore market in Asia and multiple markets in Europe. The Firefly is priced at 799,000 Thai Baht (24,500 USD).

The Firefly’s dimensions stand at 4003 mm in length, 1781 mm in width, and 1557 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2615 mm.

Under the hood, the Firefly features a rear-wheel-drive (RWD) system, delivering a maximum power output of 105 kW (141 hp) and 200 N·m of torque. It is equipped with a 42.1 kWh LFP battery, providing an estimated WLTP range of approximately 330 km and an NEDC range of up to 400 km. The car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.1 seconds and reaches a top speed of 150 km/h.

Charging capabilities include fast charging up to 100 kW, allowing the battery to replenish from 10% to 80% in 30 minutes. The Firefly also supports Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality with a maximum output of 3.68 kW and is designed for battery swapping, though this service is not yet available in Thailand.

Inside, the Firefly features a 6-inch LCD instrument cluster, a 13.2-inch central control screen powered by a Qualcomm 8155 chip, with front seats offering massage and cooling functions, a Dolby Atmos sound system with 14 speakers, and 256-colour ambient lighting that can synchronise with music.

Exterior highlights include 18-inch wheels, distinctive triple-beam LED headlights, a panoramic sunroof with UV filtering, and the brand’s signature trio lights design. There is a 92-litre front trunk (frunk) and a rear luggage space expandable up to 1253 litres.

The Firefly comes with L2 level assisted driving features, including automatic parking assist, adaptive cruise control with distance keeping, and highway lane change assist. It boasts a tight turning radius of 4.75 meters and has achieved 5-star safety ratings from both C-NCAP and Euro NCAP.
