BYD has officially launched tits 2026 Seal 06 GT and the 2026 Seal 06 DM-i Touring. The all-electric Seal 06 GT is available in four configurations, with prices ranging from 128,900 to 169,900 yuan (18,700 to 24,600 USD). The plug-in hybrid Seal 06 DM-i Touring, a new wagon variant, also offers four configurations, priced between 111,900 and 139,900 yuan (16,200 and 20,300 USD).
The 2026 Seal 06 GT, an all-electric model, comes with the following official guide prices:
- 520 : 128,900 yuan (18,700 USD)
- 520 Plus: 139,900 yuan (16,200 USD)
- 620 Plus: 153,900 yuan (22,300 USD)
- 620 Max: 169,900 yuan (24,600 USD)
All 2026 Seal 06 GT models are equipped with BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery and flash charging technology. BYD also provided an update on its “Dream Building Station Plan,” reporting 42,770 applications, 2,585 user dreams realized, and 182 flash charging stations already constructed. The company aims to complete the first batch of 1,000 high-speed charging stations by May 1st.


As a refreshed model, the 2026 BYD Seal 06 GT largely retains its existing design, drawing inspiration from the Ocean-M concept car. It features narrow headlights, a three-segment air intake, and multiple sculpted lines on the hood. New color options, Aurora Purple and Portia Rose Red, have been added to cater to personalized preferences.
The vehicle measures 4630mm in length, 1880mm in width, and 1490mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2820mm.
The interior maintains BYD’s family design language, featuring a standard 15.6-inch central control screen, a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument cluster, and a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel, aligning with current new energy vehicle trends. The car now adopts a column shifter, and the central console buttons have been redesigned for a more integrated look.
In terms of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), the 520 Plus and 620 Plus trims are equipped with the “God’s Eye C” intelligent driving solution. The top-tier 620 Max variant boasts the more advanced “God’s Eye B” intelligent driving solution, which includes lidar. The entry-level 520 trim does not feature these ADAS systems.
The 520 and 520 Plus variants are powered by a drive motor with a maximum output of 200 kW (268 hp) and peak torque of 230 Nm. These models are fitted with a 57.54 kWh battery pack, offering a CLTC pure electric range of 520 km. The 620 Plus and 620 Max models feature a larger 69.07 kWh battery pack, extending their CLTC pure electric range to 620 km.
The 2026 Seal 06 DM-i Touring, a plug-in hybrid wagon, is priced as follows:
- 200 Comfort: 111,900 yuan (16,200 USD)
- 200 Smart: 119,900 yuan (17,400 USD)
- 200 Premium: 129,900 yuan (18,800 USD)
- 300 Flagship: 139,900 yuan (16,200 USD)
The 2026 Seal 06 DM-i Touring maintains its design, characterized by a rounded front fascia and narrow headlights, complemented by a three-segment air intake. Its wagon body, with a gently sloping roofline after the B-pillar, is designed to reduce drag and provide a more spacious rear cargo area and improved rear headroom compared to a sedan. Among the six available color options is a new Extreme Tide Green.


The touring model measures 4850mm in length, 1890mm in width, and 1505mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2790mm.
Inside, the 2026 Seal 06 DM-i Touring retains the family design, with specific adjustments to details. The 200 Comfort and 200 Smart trims feature a 12.8-inch central control screen, while the 200 Premium and 300 Flagship models upgrade to a larger 15.6-inch screen. Depending on the configuration, available features include 50W wireless phone charging, front seat ventilation/heating, a panoramic sunroof with sunshade, and an electric tailgate. The vehicle also features BYD’s DiLink 150 advanced intelligent cockpit system, including smartphone connectivity.

The 2026 Seal 06 DM-i Touring is equipped with BYD’s fifth-generation DM (Dual Mode) plug-in hybrid technology, which combines a 1.5L engine with an electric motor. The engine produces a maximum power of 74 kW and peak torque of 126 Nm. All variants feature a drive motor with a maximum power of 175 kW (235 hp) and peak torque of 270 Nm. Battery options include a 25.28 kWh pack for a 200 km CLTC pure electric range, and a 34.27 kWh pack for a 300 km CLTC pure electric range.
