As a model year update, the new Firefly receives multiple upgrades across its exterior, interior, and powertrain.

Exterior updates
The 2026 model features refined styling details, including a new Maillard-inspired body colour drawn from the orange-red bricks of Porto’s historic old town. The vehicle also debuts new star-track two-tone alloy wheels and a matte black lower bumper, while certain colour variants feature a spotted grey lower surround.

The vehicle measures 4,003mm in length, 1,781mm in width, and 1,557mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,615mm. Additional practical features include a 92L front trunk and blue LED indicators on the side mirrors signalling active intelligent driver assistance.
Interior and technology
The cabin receives a technology upgrade with the Aster 1.4.0 infotainment system. New features include panoramic parking locator, Switch game screen casting, customizable lock sounds, Firefly band ambient lighting ring, intelligent parking offset adjustment, and reverse path tracing. The vehicle also comes equipped with direct tyre pressure monitoring, a hidden storage compartment for the front passenger, and auto-dimming mirrors with memory function.

Powertrain performance
The updated Firefly is powered by a 120kW (161hp) electric motor, representing a 15kW (20hp) increase over the previous model. The sprint from 0 to 100km/h takes 7.9 seconds, 0.2 seconds faster than the previous version. The battery capacity remains at 42.1kWh, delivering a CLTC-rated pure electric range of 420km.

On March 29, Firefly announced that its cumulative deliveries had reached 50,000 units.
