The Great Wall Haval M4 will get a new 1.3 liter four-cylinder, the engine will hit the Chinese auto market in the first half of this year, debut is expected for the Shanghai Auto Show in April. The Haval M4 is a trendy mini-SUV that was launched in May last year.

The specs of the 1.3 are yet unknown but we do know it will be mated to a 5-speed manual. The current Haval M4 comes with a 106hp 1.5 and is priced between 63.900 and 71.900 yuan. Price for the 1.3 will likely start around 58.000 yuan.
