Mercedes-Benz will launch the facelifted S-Class and the new S560 on the Shanghai Auto Show in China. The facelift includes new headlights, new bumpers, new rear lights, a new steering wheel, a new S560 name tag, and the new six-in-line engine.

The new 3-spoke wheel.

It is great to see that Mercedes brings back the 560 name, 25 years after the iconic W126 560 SEL. S560 is the new name for the S500. Engine will remain the same; a 4.6 liter bi-turbo V8 with 455hp and 700nm.

The brand new M256 six-in-line is the replacement of the current S400 bi-turbo V6 with 334hp and 480nm. The name will remain the same but the six-in-line engine will deliver 408hp and 500nm.

New taillights.
