Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobile Co Ltd, a joint venture between France’s PSA Peugeot Citroen and Dongfeng Motor Corp, reported record sales of 373,000 vehicles for 2010, a year-on-year increase of 38.3 percent, Information Times reported Thursday.
PSA, imports included, sold 375,000 vehicles last year, up 42.8 percent from a year earlier. Its two divisions Dongfeng Citroen and Dongfeng Peugeot had combined sales revenue of 37 billion yuan ($5.6 billion), selling 224, 001 units and 149, 365 units, respectively.
