The NMS Passat is made in China by the Shanghai-Volkswagen joint venture and will be sold as ‘New Passat’. Volkswagen has, well had, a little suprise left for the New Passat’s debut at the Shanghai Auto Show next week. Until now Volkswagen said the engines for China would be all four-cylinders; the 1.8 and 2.0. But the 3.0 will be available as well, one example was spotted on Volkswagen’s booth in Shanghai.
