GM launched the new Chevrolet Malibu at the Shanghai Auto Show. It will be made in the US and in China by the Shanghai-GM joint venture. The car’s Camaro-like design will certainly attract buyers in China. The Malubu stands on the same platform as the Buick Regal/Opel Insignia. Engines at launch: 2.0 and 2.4. The 2.0 turbo will join later. Price in China will start around 180.000 and end around 230.000.
