Volkswagen sells more cars in China than anyone else but the Germans believe they can sell many more. And indeed, I guess they can. Volkswagen will launch five (5) new cars on the Chinese market from July to August. All are imported: Golf Cross, Golf Plus, Golf R, Golf Variant and Scirocco R. Sales will be small compared to hot-sellers as the Lavida and New Bora so VW will not make the new cars locally.
