New spy shots of the upcoming Chery Cowin 2. The car was expected at the Shanghai Auto Show but did not appear. Maybe Geely is ashamed of it. The Chery Cowin 2 is based on the old Chery Cowin which in turn is based on the ancient Seat Toledo for which Chery bought the rights from Seat way back in the late ’80′s.

Chery turned the vehicle-name ‘Cowin’ into a sub-brand for budged cars, the Cowin 2 will be the cheapest, price will start around 50.000 yuan. Power comes from an ancient 1.5.
