Spy shots from a very unfinished Volkswagen Polo GTI, it will be made in China by the Shanghai-Volkswagen joint venture. This makes the Polo GTI the first ‘GTI’-model made on the Chinese mainland. Pics were likely taken in a test facility from Shanghai Volkswagen. The Polo GTI gets the 1.4 TSI engine with 96kw. Car is meant for young car buyers who want to go fast but don’t have enough cash for an imported Golf GTI.
