The gasoline-electric A6 Hybrid is powered by a turbocharged 2.0 TFSI direct-injection four-cylinder gas engine and a 40kW electric motor. The hybrid powertrain delivers a combined 241 horsepower and 354 pound-feet of torque.

That makes sense because I doubt the A6 hybrid will convince many buyers in Europe, where people prefer diesels. It may be more successful in China.
