The FAW V2 Cross will be listed in September. It is based on the rather boring FAW V2 hatchback. The Cross stand a bit higher on its wheels, got a roodrack, a new bumper, loads of black plastic and very racy wheels that seem out of place, just a little bit, on a cross country vehicle.

The changes though do the V2 some good. It seems suddenly a much cooler vehicle and guessingly that is exactly what FAW wants us to feel. Job done then. Engine is the same as in the standard car, a 1.3 four cylinder with 91hp and 120nm, mated to a 5-speed auo or 5-speed manual. Front wheel drive. Price yet unknown but the standard car starts at 50.000 yuan.
