The BYD G6 will be listed on the Chinese car market in September. The G6 is the much more advanced successor of the BYD F6. Best thing for BYD: the G6 doesn’t look like a 1:1 copy of another car, like the rest of BYD’s range.

There will be two engines: the old but updated 2.0 with 103kw and 186 and and a brand new 1.5 turbo with 113kw and a healthy 240nm. Transmission: 5-speed manual, 5-speed automatic and a, again brand new, dual clutch transmission (DCT) for the 1.5. It is a big car, size: 4860x1825x1463, wheelbase is 2745.
